The Certificate in HR Practice course is foundation level standard, at an equivalent level to NVQ/SVQ Level 3, and requires a completed total of 28 credits. These credits are made up of the following:

Students can complete all for modules and be awarded the Diploma in HR Practice (DHRP) click here» for details.
The CHRP and DHRP courses are assessment-based qualifications and the methods of assessment will include skills assessments, written assessments, online case studies and quizzes.
The CHRP course is split 50:50 between class based study and web-based e-learning, as is the DHRP course with the exception of the Contributing to the process of job analysis module, which is studied solely online.
Students will have access to tutors throughout their study on this course.
You don't need any previous experience to take the CHRP or DHRP courses; however, some human resources experience would be beneficial. You will also need an email address and access to the internet. You will be required to take part in a telephone interview prior to starting the course.
Students of the Foundation Certificate or Diploma are required to gain student membership of the CIPD. On completion of the CHRP/DHRP course you will have been provided with the knowledge required for the Associate professional level of membership.
