I've been working for a company for 6 months 3 weeks. My contract says my notice period from both sides is 2 weeks during probation and 2 months after probation. On Monday, I was told I was being laid off with 2 weeks notice period paid. The contract says the probation period is 6 months but can be extended in writing. I just assumed that my probation was over. Shouldn't I be entitled to 2 months notice period.
