Delivering Learning and Development Activities is a two-day classroom course with an element of e-learning. It is a CIPD accredited course which is designed to provide an understanding of the key principles of enabling employees to acquire new knowledge and skills.
Topics include:
- The contribution of learning to the organisation;
- The characteristics of adult learners;
- Assessing learning needs;
- Learning styles and the learning cycle;
- Types of delivery;
- Visual aids and training methods;
- Key techniques for delivering a successful training event; and
- The importance of, and methods of, evaluating the training itself and what difference it makes to performance in the workplace.
Completing this course will give students six credits towards completing their Certificate in HR Practice or Diploma in HR Practice or Certificate in L&D Practice, or will result in a CIPD Award if completed on its own.
