Topic of the week: Manager injured picking up earring sues employer for £1m

I don't know why anyone would need to prove something had fallen under anything accepting that if recovering something out of reach common sense would suggest a ruler, stick or grab tool of some kind would be the first thought? Even as a big strapping male I would consider carefully whether I wanted to unload a display unit or even attempt to move it 'as is' that I couldn't reach the back of and, without being discriminatory, if female, wouldn't you normally call a porter / warehouseman or tw
