I thought the online version was easy to download and read and can be more easily shared with colleagues in a dispersed organisation. It's also scaleable for easy read at larger text sizes. It saves paper, storage space and useful articles can easily be stored electronically and retrieved for later reference. No junk falling out either!!!
Not taking into account the saved paper and fuel, it's a big plus. If it goes back to paper, please keep the paper envelopes that can be easily recycled - the plastic ones are a pain and just end up in landfill forever in human terms!

Thanks David. Just to reiterate - this is a one-off sustainability special issue of the magazine. The magazine WILL carry on being printed, with its normal number of pages - but we will be learning the lessons from this exercise and will be aiming to reduce the environmental impact of the magazine from next month onwards.

Similar concerns as some previous commentators. I tried to access the magazine from my office in Edinbvurgh through our company firewall on the South Coast of England - and guess what? I get a warning that "This page cannot be displayed" - nice idea and I congratulate you for trying it out, but I am just left with the 4 page bulletin and accessing the site to read the wealth of environmental news this week.
