I have a member of staff who has long fingers and is finding the mouse she uses is giving her joint pains in her fingers. She's not having carpel syndrome problems which is a shame in a way as I can find plenty of mouses (?) which claim to solve that but none which seemed to be designed to use with extra-long fingers. Anyone come across this before or can point me to a good mouse supplier?
thanks

We had the same problems whilst looking for a solution other than wheel clamping I came across this. http://www.wheelclampers.com/
A self administrating parking control kit. Less confrontational than wheel clamping and you don't require a licence. I didn't go ahead and use it as the threat of action by us to the perpetrators did the trick and they no longer use the car park.

Tongue in cheeek - does this apply to the 'boy-racers' who play their music so loud from their car audio system so everyone can hear it? and what about when I have work colleagues in my car as passengers, am I then not allowed to have the radio on or play any CDs?

Thanks guys. I felt it was my job as I'm the manager of the department and I couldn't let anyone else take the repsonsibility and perhaps dealing with it incorrectly and causing froction. Anyway, I took the person for an informal coffee away from the office and explained the problem and talked them through it showing some empathy. Anyway (hopefully) all is well now.
thanks

How do I tell someone that I've had complaints about their personal hygiene? This person's body odour is very strong and unpleasant and as I've had complaints from staff, it's my job to deal with it. Of course I don't want to offend this person but I'm not sure the best way to approach it. Has anyone experience of this?

It depends on his conrtract but you should be able to extend his probation period by any amount you require. You'll need to put into writing to him why you're doing this and to how long the extension will be.
