We have completed prelimary design on a scheme and by mutual agreement with the client have agreed that we do not wish to continue due to a change in the brief. Do we retain copyright of the scheme or can the client chose to develop the project with another architect based on our scheme? We did not have a contract in place only a letter of agreement for the whole project.

What is the average holiday allowance in similar size offices in the fields of architecture and landscape. Is the Christmas shut down period normally given on top of the statutory 20 days or included within?
