My personal phone is a camera-phone and I would take a VERY dim view of anyone attempting to force me to leave it at home just because they think it could be used improperly.
The problem is rarely the item - it's the user.
The proposal is as "sensible" as an attempt to impose a ban on all emails - not feasible in this day and age.
Surely the point is to control and ban the improper use of any item rather than to impose a blanket ban on the item itself.

Are there any recently published (or currently relevant) sources to which you can refer me that relate to the legal pros/cons/issues of E-TENDERING for SERVICES. (anything related to the process as well as the contractual issues would be of interest.
I need this to be fairly specific so, just to clarify, please note I'm NOT looking for information on e-auctions (which are different) or for e-procurement of goods or commodities.
My particular interest is anything related to the real estate or FM sectors but please advise on any relevant sources in any sector.
Thank you
Rosemary Clarkson.
