We are a low risk office environment with first aid provision. However, how do we dispose of used plasters and used sterile wipes. Use of these supplies is minimal but we wish to ensure that we dispose correctly.

I have been told by a supplier that break glass mechanisms are now illegal and should be replaced by ceramic tubes. Is this true?

I am currently investigating office accommodation for 120 admin/clerical staff. The toilet facilities are individual rooms and total 8 + 2 designated as disabled toilets. Each toilet has a washbasin and the door is capable of being secured from the inside.
The HSE ACOP specifies a minimum number of toilet facilities (5 for 76-100 staff).
Can you confirm:
1. whether the facilities identified meet the ACOP?
2. If I choose to designate 4 for male use only, 4 for female use only and 2 for mixed used will this also meet the ACOP?
