Hi, I just have a question regarding PPE clothing for my engineers, i have a team of electrical and mechanical engineers in the building services field, who are constantly working in Plant rooms with moving machinery and working around chemical treated water and foul water, Is there a minimum standard of clothing that i MUST (e.g. fire proof, tear and scratch proof) supply them relating to trousers and shirts? This question was brought up at our last H&S meeting. I currently supply them hard hats, glasses, hi-vis, gloves and safety boots.
