Police are a law unto themselves but it beggars belief that they are in that much of a mucho competitive feedback-blind bubble that they think they can actually totally ignore the needs of their own people and just continue as if their human resources are strategic chess peices in the allocation of resources to various tick-box 'task' orientated management / government objectives.
Congratulations on your promotion to Superintendent as i for one am sure you will be more receptive to feed-back and use that to promote Positive Regard for all your officers "needs" who will be better enabled to delivery on management "wants" in terms of performance - Wel done Sir.
