What sort of information should be provided to my company as a tenant in a building?

Erm, a lease or licence to occupy for starters.....
Can you be a little more specific with your question?

Apologies...was thinking along the line of H&S information.
Should we have a copy of the building asbestos report for example?
Fire alarm and call point checks?

I'd say yes as a minimum to all three. You have a responsibility to your employees on all three matters and therefore would be required to have the information available for LA or HSE inspections.

Sue,
Whilst the landlord will always have some H&S responsibility, it may be that your company is responsible for many the above things.
When I worked in facilities management (for a large corporate) we arranged (and funded) our own asbestos surveys, and administered ourselves the checks of fire sensors etc.
Obviously if you are renting a small suite in a serviced office block for three months, it will be different if you are renting a whole building for ten years. Perhaps it partly depends what level of autonomy you have in the building. I.e. if its just your company you can perhaps do more than if you are on a multi-company site.
