I think that it is typical of this Governementto say one thing and do another. Working for clients, who by the way I am thinking of ditching because of their attitude, a numbe welcome the fact that ther may be less Inspectors to check on them. The threat of an Inspector and action dimishes by the minute. As we have seen with teh Construction industry recently and the number of notices and prosecutions undertaken by the HSE self-regulation doesot seem to be working.

The government propose to introduce a Corporate Manslaughter Bill then remove the inspectors who are capable of doing the job. This government has a lot to answer for.
