As a Planning Supervisor I sadly have to agree with the above, designers have, in most cases yet to focus on their responsibilities not only under CDM but under the H&S at W etc. Act. As designer are inm osr cases the first contact with Clients this shortcoming results in design/construction projects starting off on the wrong health and safety foot
