The Department of Work and Pensions apparently intends to appeal the Tribunal's decision. The PCS union has expressed its disappointment at the decision:
"We are obviously disappointed that management have already announced that they will be appealing this decision. We had hoped that in light of the unanimous decision of the Tribunal management would sit down and discuss with PCS a dress code policy that works."
