According to results of a new survey by the GMB Union, more than 90 per cent of employees do not know what procedures to follow if a terrorist attack takes place at work and have received no guidance from their employer. Its survey of 1,000 workers across the UK found 89 per cent of UK employees have no idea what symptoms to look out for if they suspect a colleague has become exposed to a biological or chemical agent. The union wants the Government to inform workers better about best practice in the event of a terrorist attack.
