Yea, so what - Screen Fatigue and visual dyslexia reduces up to 50% of Display screen operatiors peformance by 19.2% and that is equal to 33 Days a year lost productivity and thats without getting into the levels of Performance Anxiety, poor managment culture or bullying.
No wonder employees stressed and irritable just like their poor management under increasing pressure to be "compliant" by ticking the boxes but unlike in the film Navigator there is no 'spare capacity' in the work-system to genuinely deliver 'compliance' with a clear conscience so always having to 'gild the lilly' a little to tick the box but in doing so know that they have to look into the mirror each morning knowing of the self-deception.
I think "Kings Fund" report on projected costs of Mental Health 2026 is probably going to double or treble just like the projected costs of the 2012 London Olympics if we continue to exclude doing anything about 'it' - 'it' being those anomalies in the corporate psychi that allow Friendly Fire and is blind to the Collateral Damage it causes to the health in human resourses.
If, 'talking the talk' then HR is supposed to be the most valuable asset it's just when walking the walk you find that valuable asset is actually disposable.........
