Seams a shame that a Christian Society should be non-inclusive of existing non-christians while also a shame that they should not be able to favour the employment of practicing Christians into a faith based organisation.
Employers and employees already have significant enough problems in seeking mutually beneficial work/life relationships in which professional and personal ideologies are compatable or at least reasonably well aligned without the officious bystander sticking his motti in.
However, perhaps it is something that needs to be regularly tested by the courts if there is to be a balance between the 'wants' and 'needs' of employers and employees.
Being non-judgmental will, of course, be difficult for many in society who remain confused as to how a lawyer can and will defend a sex offender to the best of their ability whilst personally still finding the offence abhorant.
Asking anyone to undertake any professional or vocational task that in the exiction of the task may require a mind set not aligned to the individuals ideologies would be unreasonable and will affect both the performance of the task and cause intellectual and/or emotional conflict within the individual.
