Can anyone point me in the direction of rules/legislation regarding driving hours in the UK.
If you drive a van, under 3.5 tonnes, are there any specific rules about the length of time you can be expected to drive without taking a break, and also the amount of time you should have between driving sessions as a continuous rest break (eg, overnight). I would also be interested if there is a limit on the overall week.
Many thanks
Lisa

I have brought this up in a previous discussion but can't find that discussion.
I know of someone that was charged with working too many hours which included driving, and the company was charged as well.
But finding the specifics is like finding a needle in a haystack, I have asked the person that was charged, but he hasn't got the documents any more.

IMO, and to be safe, companies should adopt the driving hours from for instance a minibus, or larger van.
