This is great news for all disabled travellers. I think the airline industry and the airports should see this legislation as an opportunity, not as yet another costly obligation. The opportunity to tap into a great market (worth up to 50b a year in the UK alone, as per research by the Department of Work and Pensions). The market of disabled customers, who themselves, their carers, family and friends have for too long not been able to spend their money because of inaccessible services and patronising or indifferent customer service.
Really, the law, is actually doing the travel industries a favour and it won't be long before they realise it.
