It's not just a matter of choosing greener cars. Drivers also need to be shown how to drive in a more fuel efficient way if companies and the enviroment are to really reap the benefits

As a Company Car driver, I think there is the big incentive of lower BiK.
The personal tax on the car can be halved by choosing a low emission vehicle as I proved by having a Toyota Prius this time round.
Taken with the current £10 per annum Congestion Charge registration fee (and no further charges) it has to make sense especially for those in and around London

My employer - the GMB Trade Union - has taken the decision to 'go green'. Currently, we have a deal with Toyota for the Avensis. These are leased on a two year basis and then replaced. From this month however, once the two years is up, we will be switching to the Toyota Prius. The advantages of this are two-fold; it's cheaper to run (fuel and tax savings) and of course greener. There has been a lot of debate on the subject, but I for one support the move wholeheartedly. I would have to though, I am the Regional Health & Safety Officer!

We choose pool cars to suit the purpose - our normal business needs ar short journeys with 1 or 2 people - we therefore have chosen smart cars.
