We are looking for a number of efficient actors to place on our approved list. To be contacted on an ad hoc basis during practical exam periods. Individuals should be confident and talkative. English as a first language is essential. Ideally the candidate will live locally to the EC1 area. We need someone to start straight away and will usually be required for the whole day on Tuesdays and Thursday.
Workplace Law specialises in Employment Law, Health and Safety and Environmental Management. As well as our consultancy services we also provide a number of training courses, including professional qualifications for students looking to work within HR.
As part of our CIPD courses our students are assessed undertaking an interview, an appraisal and coaching an employee. We aim to make this as ‘real life’ as possible and that is where we hope you will come in. During these assessments we provide our students with an ‘actor’ to play the part of the interviewee or employee. We don’t need people who are working professionally or even to have any HR experience – we provide a full brief to our ‘actor’ and ask them to draw on their own experiences form any previous roles / student work and our students will do the rest.
It’s an ad-hoc position in our office in Clerkenwell, London. In return we will pay £6.50 an hour and free lunch, as well as an opportunity to work with Workplace Law (and our fun team) and to gain great experience of interviews / appraisals etc which we are confident will benefit you in turn in your careers.
All we ask is for someone outgoing, the ability to follow the brief given and to be able to ‘think on your feet’ when playing the role of the ‘employee’.
