TUC Conference: Construction fatalities ‘need to be reduced’

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Peter Hain has called for government and industry to work together to reduce fatalities in the construction industry.

At the TUC conference Hain committed to produce a concrete action plan at a forum next Monday, 17 September, which brings together employers, trade unions and other organisations.
