Climate change: are employers failing to save energy in the workplace?

As Live Earth brought together two billion people across the globe to raise awareness of climate change last weekend, the TUC revealed that more than half of UK employers are failing to do their bit to save energy in the workplace.

According to a web survey of employees, less than half the respondents said they work for an employer with an environmental policy.

Currently, two-thirds of carbon emissions are work-related and more than half the UK’s energy is used in the workplace.
