New disability guidance for adult education providers

    The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) have released a Code of Practice this week, aiming to reduce inequalities experienced by disabled students in the post-16 sector.

    The Code of Practice has been produced following changes to the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) last September, which now make it an offence for the post-16 education sector to refuse to provide education to a student simply because they have a disability or long-term health condition.
