Crackdown on non-compliance with data protection law

    Recruitment businesses that have not registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (IOC) are facing a crackdown which could lead to prosecution or a fine of around £2000, it was announced this week.

    The ICO says that it “will not hesitate to take further action” against those recruitment businesses which have decided to “flout the law in this way”.
