TUC launches Commission on Vulnerable Employment

The TUC have launched a Commission on Vulnerable Employment (CoVE) today in Manchester joined by business leaders to investigate vulnerable working in the UK.

The Commission will carry out investigations into the extent of workplace exploitation and consider improvements to enforcement and legal protection for vulnerable workers.

According to findings by the TUC, one in five of the workforce (5.3 million people) is being exploited at work.
