Most premises generate some form of liquid waste such as sewage, waste chemicals, cleaning effluents and contaminated surface run-off. As it is an offence to pollute accidentally or deliberately, fulfilling the duty of care with regard to such wastes require responsible management, suitable facilities and a range of pollution prevention measures.
