Initiatives launched to help businesses tackle climate change

Last week more than 1,000 companies pledged to take action on climate change; each making an average of five firm commitments to take action to reduce their carbon emissions.

The companies pledged to work with employees, suppliers and customers to help them reduce their carbon impact, a move expected to have significant cascading effects amongst the wider business community.
