Employees demand for 9–5 becomes 5–9

    Employers and employees alike are embracing flexible working hours and other innovative working arrangements, a new report reveals. Employers are requesting that their employees work non-traditional working hours due to the trend in consumers demanding to obtain services around the clock. The trend has been named by the banking firm, First Direct as the ‘5–9 economy’.
