Small changes to buildings play a critical part in reducing carbon emissions

    Simple practical measures, such as installing energy efficient lighting and painting walls a lighter colour, can play a critical part in reducing carbon emissions in existing buildings, according to new research commissioned by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
