BNP banker claims she was forced out after maternity leave

    A female employee who claims she was discriminated against when she came back from maternity leave is suing her former employer, BNP Paribas, the investment bank.

    Katharina Tofeji joined the bank six years ago as a senior sales dealer. She claims that although a "star performer", winning more clients and generating more revenue than the rest of her team, she experienced unfair treatment soon after announcing her pregnancy.
