Small businesses still unaware of WEEE Regulations

From 1 July 2007 all of the provisions contained in the EU’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive will come into force in the UK. However, despite this deadline being less than four months away, research has suggested that small businesses are still not ready to cope with the new Regulations.

In fact, according to IT equipment retailer Wstore, nearly half (47%) of small firms are not aware of, or have even heard of,  the WEEE Regulations.
