Doctor’s notes of limited use to employers, says FPB

    The current system of using doctor’s notes to sign employees off sick should be reformed, it has been claimed.

    The Forum of Private Business (FPB) says that the information contained in doctor’s notes is “insufficient to allow employers to work out whether a worker is justifiably absent”.
