Company fined after young, unsupervised and untrained worker injured

    A company has been fined £2,000 with cots of £1,555 after an untrained and unsupervised 17 year old worker was injured when his arm was caught in a forklift truck (FLT).

    David Prosser, Director of DJP Poultry Handling Services Ltd, was fined at Ludlow Magistrates' Court following an investigation into an incident where an employee Anthony Halpin suffered fractures to his arm, wrist and hand which became trapped in a FLT.
