Almost half of firms unaware of new fire safety laws

New research has shown that almost half of small firms are unaware of major new fire safety laws coming into effect next month.

The survey, carried out by Norwich Union Risk Services, showed that only 47% of firms with fewer than 50 employees had any knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRO).
