London fire raises important issues for FMs who store data offsite

    A huge fire that ripped through a six-storey paper storage warehouse in east London highlights how important it is for FMs who have the responsibility of looking after offsite storage, to ensure that these facilities have proper fire risk measures in place.

    About 100 firefighters were called to the data storage unit, owned by Iron Mountain, on Wednesday (12 July) night. Firefighters were unable to put out the blaze and said it needed to burn itself out.
