A Muslim hospital worker has been awarded over £41,000 at an Employment Tribunal today (10 July) after he was harassed for over a year before being sacked.
The tribunal in Watford ordered West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust to pay £41,300 in compensation to Mohammed Ben-Khaled for religious and sex discrimination and unfair dismissal. Ben-Khaled alleged that his employers claimed being a Muslim interfered with his work.
