Consultant teaches employees how to make cup of tea safely

It has been reported that East Hertfordshire District Council has spent £200 on a health and safety consultant to teach staff how to make a cup of tea.

The action took place because since the tea lady at the council offices in Bishop's Stortford was sacked in March at least two employees have been injured in tea-related incidents.
