The HSE has warned of the dangers posed to construction workers by electricity lines - both underground and in the air - after a North Wales scaffolding contractor escaped with a £2,000 fine and, more importantly, his life, following an incident last year.
David Bohana and his employee John Macdonald suffered electrical burns to their hands and feet after the metal scaffolding pole they were erecting came into contact with an 11,000 volt overhead line.
