The security risk of a mobile workforce

The risk of identity theft is rising as the workforce becomes more mobile and employees carry around sensitive personal data on computer equipment.

As Workplace Law previously reported, in February an external auditor lost an unencrypted CD containing sensitive information on thousands of McAfee employees when they left it in the back of an airline seat, putting the employees at risk of identity fraud.
