A quarter of small business bosses are so worried about being sued that they are unwilling to deal with lazy workers, a new survey suggests.
According to data from the Employment Law Advisory Services (ELAS), although nine out of ten managers would discipline idle employees if they were legally confident to do so, many are put off from dealing with them because they fear being taken to an employment tribunal.
