Shell UK Limited has been fined a total of £900,000 following the deaths of two workers on its Brent Bravo offshore production platform in September 2003.
Following an HSE investigation, the company (trading as Shell Expro UK Exploration and Production) pleaded guilty to breaching health and safety legislation. The fines were imposed last week [27 April] at Stonehaven Sheriff Court.
