A Manchester company that published "drugs and safety awareness books" aimed at schoolchildren has been wound up following a DTI investigation.
Anderson Clarke Publications Ltd (ACP) cold-called businesses throughout the UK to secure sponsorship, and claimed that, in return for donations, they would distribute to a school nominated by the sponsor, books dealing with issues such as drug use, bullying and internet safety.
