Army fails in 'duty of care'

    Bullying and harassment in the armed forces were highlighted today in a highly critical report by the Commons Defence Select Committee. According to the BBC, the Committee's report says that the armed forces - particularly the Army - had "failed to grasp the nettle of duty of care" to its personnel.

    The report calls on the Ministry of Defence to consider raising the age for recruits joining the services to 18. It follows widespread complaints of bullying and harassment in the services in ... (66 more words)
