Disability Bill amended to include recurring depression

The Disability Discrimination Bill has been amended by the House of Lords this month to extend protection to workers who have relapsed into depression. The amendment was put forward by Tory peers, and covers people who have suffered serious depression that has interfered with their ability to function normally, have then recovered, but have suffered a relapse within five years.
