Waste firm fined over £26,000 after employee crushed to death by forklift

    The proprietor of waste firm GF Potter, James Potter, has been fined £20,000 with £6,400 costs following the death of employee Robert Mann in an industrial accident in March 2003, Safetynews reports.

    Mr Mann, 59, is reported to have died when his forklift truck fell from a weighbridge at his workplace, toppling onto him as it fell. He suffered fatal head injuries.
