Employer in breach of DDA for failing to adjust working time

    An employee who had to undergo surgery due to acute pancreatitis has won his case against his employer for failing to make reasonable adjustment to his working time under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, The Lawyer reports.

    The online article reveals that following surgery, Mr Law was advised to return to work at Pace Micro Technology plc gradually. He discussed the possibility of working part-time for a period with his employer and his post was made redundant shortly afterwards. The ... (126 more words)
