Disability Discrimination: Are You Ready for 1 October 2004?

The Code of Practice on access to goods, facilities, services and premises states that one of the most important general approaches to making reasonable adjustment is disability awareness training for customer-facing staff. All staff should be made aware - the Code goes on to say - that it is unlawful to discriminate against disabled people.
