Hot Work Permits: minimising the risks

It is very clear from statistics that hot works carried out by contractors represents one of the most significant fire risks to a building. All premises engaging the services of contractors are exposed to the risks, although some buildings may be more vulnerable to significant damage than others; heritage premises for example may have less certain fire separation and, therefore, fire spread beyond the immediate area of the fire is more likely.
